http://rubyjames.com/news.cfm Thu, 02 Jun 2011 01:55:55 GMT http://bandzoogle.com http://rubyjames.com/news.cfm?feature=2263861&postid=1005234 so excited to be in Madison, Wi right now on our way to <a href="http://www.sbsf5.com/fr_home.cfm" target="_new">Steelbridge Songfest in Sturgeon Bay, Wi.&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="http://www.adammackintosh.com" target="_new">Adam Mackintosh and I hit the road a few days ago after an incredible week of recording for this new album we've been working on with Kyle Crusham at Tequila Mockingbird Studios in Austin, Tx!&nbsp; We had a great show last night on <a href="http://www.madtoastlive.com/" target="_new">Mad Toast Live with hosts Chris Wagoner and Mary Gaines!&nbsp; Chris and Mary are such incredible people and also incredible musicians.&nbsp; It was so great to have them sit in on cello, violin and lap steel and rock out the songs with us!&nbsp; We got to perform two brand new songs that we've never played live that are going to be on this new album.. Dirty Pretty Boy and Voudoo Queen!&nbsp;&nbsp; Then we headed over to Mickey's to see our good steel bridge friend <a href="http://www.myspace.com/jeremiahnelsonmusic" target="_new">Jeremiah Nelson play a few songs! Jeremiah and I wrote a beautiful song last year together called &quot;Goodbye South Bend&quot; and it made it onto the Steelbridge Vol. 6 cd!&nbsp; Very excited about that as well!!&nbsp; Thank you Madison.. your city is beautiful and we've had a great time!&nbsp; Looking forward to our upcoming shows before steelbridge starts.. Friday, June 3rd we'll be at <a href="http://www.becketsrestaurant.com/Links.aspx" target="_new">Becket's in Osh Kosh and Saturday, June 4th we'll be at <a href="http://www.crankypats.com/" target="_new">Cranky Pat's in Neenah, WI w/ Jeremiah Nelson and Justin Bricco!
